Drill press is a machine tool mainly used for machining holes on workpieces. Its main working principle is to perform the main motion through the rotation of the drill bit, and the feed motion is performed by the axial movement of the drill bit. The structure of the Drill press is relatively simple, and the machining accuracy is relatively low, but it can process through holes and blind holes, and can perform operations such as reaming, boring or tapping by replacing special tools.

Drill press is a general-purpose machine tool with a wide range of uses. It can perform drilling, reaming, boring, countersinking and tapping on parts. When the Drill press is equipped with process equipment, boring can also be performed. When the Drill press is equipped with a universal workbench, drilling, reaming and reaming can also be performed.
The workpiece is fixed: During the machining process, the workpiece is fixed, the tool moves and aligns with the center of the hole, and the tool rotates for the main motion.
Various Operation Modes: The operation of the Drill press can be manual or motorized, depending on the design of the equipment and user needs.
Vertical Drill presss: suitable for drilling in the vertical direction.
Bench Drill presss: suitable for drilling small workpieces.
Deep hole Drill presss: specially used for processing deep holes.
Radial Drill presss: suitable for drilling larger workpieces and have a larger working range.
1. Before working, it is necessary to fully check whether the operating mechanisms of each part are normal, wipe the rocker arm guide rails with fine cotton yarn and fill them with lubricating oil according to the lubricating oil brand.
2. Only after the rocker arm and the spindle box are locked can the operation be carried out.
3. There must be no obstacles within the swing range of the rocker arm.
4. Before drilling, the workbench, workpiece, fixture, and cutting tool of the Drill press must be aligned and tightened.
5. Correctly select the spindle speed and feed amount, and do not overload.
6. When drilling beyond the workbench, the workpiece must be stable.
7. When the machine tool is running and automatically feeding, it is not allowed to change the speed. If the speed is changed, it can only be done after the spindle is completely stopped.
8. Loading and unloading cutting tools and measuring workpieces must be done when the machine is stopped. It is not allowed to drill the workpiece directly with hands and it is not allowed to operate with gloves.
9. If any abnormal noise is found during work, it must be stopped immediately to check and eliminate the fault.
